Meta Studio
The Meta Studio is a polyrhythmic sequencing and synthesis application for Pure Data. It uses graph-on-parent objects to implement a modular system of sequencing and synthesis with a flexible patching system.

This is the first release. Some things don't work on Windows, and it also requires some externals for certain machines. A lot of it is just wrapped PD externals with a GUI, but the sequence modifiers provide a degree of rhythmic innovation. Some externals required are: zexy, sigpack (for the sigpack distortion units), bassemu~ (for the mono303~ unit) and ekext (for the lead-lag beatmatching helper). Some things might not work so well... let me know! It has been running very well on Linux machines. Works well on a Mac with Pd-0.39.3-extended from http://at.or.at/hans/pd/installers. To check out some features as an introduction, look at demodrum.pd in the metastudio folder.
Version 0.2 contains bugfixes, as well as a new module or two. Check out the patch demoresynthfx.pd to play with the new tabmask~ abstraction - an FFT phaser.
Coming soon...Metastudio 0.3 and MetaVJ 0.1, with modular synthesis, phase distortion, PDP video studio and...HELP FILES!
There will be a new release of Metastudio and the first release of MetaVJ in April / May 2009.

Troubled Waters is a standalone application and Max/MSP patch for real-time re-orgainsation of live input. You can download it here:
