The Meta Studio is a set of abstractions for Pd Extended. It uses graph-on-parent objects to implement a modular system of sequencing, synthesis and effects with a flexible patching system.
You can download it here: metastudio-0.3-11b.zip.
Some things don't work on Windows, mainly the saving of entire banks of samples (since there is no [shell] object on Windows). and it also requires some externals for certain machines. This has been tested with Pd-extended-0.41-4 which you can download from puredata.info
Version 0.3 contains many new innovations, including a modular synthesis system, more consistency in terms of parameter externalization, and help files for many of the objects. Not all objects have help files, but I am working on them and will keep updating the archive as they are made.
You must add the directory /path/to/metastudio-0.3 to PD startup path from the File menu (Win, Linux) or the Pure Data menu (Mac OSX). Otherwise the metastudio will not work properly.
The MetaVJ is a new system of modular video objects available now for download. There are virtually no help files as yet, but these will be added as soon as the work on Metastudio 3 is done (for now). This does not work at all on Windows, and if you want to use the freeframe plugins you will need to install them (get the 1.0.5 version) and also the pdp_freeframe external from pdvjtools yourself.
